The energy-saving design is used in the design of the disc diffuser during the intermittent and continual aeration; it has low installation cost, high reliability and excellent performances. The precise drilling is beneficial for the highly effective oxygen transferring and utilization; in order to meet the specification requirements of the aeration system, the different drilling hole modes can be used to adjust the working pressure, such as the drilling holes with different slit length, distance and density of drilling hole. The diameter of the drilling hole in the range between 184mm and 295mm is widely used for the different standards as well as the special diaphragm material.
The following materials are used for the disc diffuser:
●EPDM: It is suitable for the municipal sewage;
●EPDM with low plasticizer: It is suitable for the industrial sewage generated during the animal slaughtering and processing, food processing and beverage production;
●Silicon rubber: It is suitable for the industrial sewage generated in the industries of pulp and paper-making, petroleum and chemistry and fine processing;
●All the diaphragm material are used to design the anti-blocking surface based on nanometer technology so as to prevent the biological consolidation.

The pressure balance should be considered for the air pipe design, and the air pipe should be better connected into a ring. The air inlet pipe of each group should be set with valve so as to adjust the air amount conveniently. The design flowing speed of the air pipe: 10-15m/s for stem pipe and 5 m/s for the branch pipe. The installation height of the surface of aerator (to the pool bottom): 270mm, 250mm and 200mm (knockout plate style).
