The raw materials of the active carbon used for wasted gas processing are the charcoal from Shanxi, and the carbon is manufactured after the strict technique such as shattering, carbonization, activation and refining. It has the features of large surface area rate, developed pore structure, rational pore distribution, strong absorption capability, even particle distribution and large abrasive resistance. It is used in the purification of the gas for raw materials of chemical industry, chemically synthesized gas, gas for pharmacy industry and carbon dioxide for beverages, as well as hydrogen, nitrogen, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, acetylane, ethane, cracking gas and inert gases, as well as the purification of the gas emitted from the atomic facilities. It is also used in eliminating the pollutants in the air as well as the isolation and purification of the mixed gases.
The processing of the polluted water

It has developed pores and rational distribution of three kinds of holes, as well as strong absorption capability. Under the wide range of temperature, it can strongly absorb the vapor of most organic solvents, and it is widely applied in the recycling of the organic solvents such as benzene, ether, xylene, alcohol, acetone, gasoline, trichloromethane and carbon tetrachloride.

The column-shape active carbon
The wood-based column-shape active carbon uses the fine wood crust and coconut shell as the raw materials and it is manufactured by the procedures of shattering, mixing, pressing, formulating, drying, carbonization and activation. It has the lower ash content than that of the traditional charcoal-based column-.shape carbon; it has fewer impurities and the CTC has the absolute advantages.
It is mainly used in: 1 the gaseous phase absorption, 2. The recycling of the organic solvents (such as benzene-containing gases, methylbenzene and xylene, and the recycling of acetone in the industry of cellulose acetate fiber, and the recycling of carbon disulfide in the production of short adhesive fibers), 3 the elimination of the impurities and harmful gases. This technology ranks the first in China.
The absorption rate of the common 4mm active carbon to CTC is only 60% and it doesn’t exceed 70%; while the absorption rate of the produced 4mm wood-based column-shape active carbon to CTC is 100% and it has made up for the shortcoming of the domestic products on the low absorption rate to CTC. The product has reached the first-rank level in the world and it can totally replace the imported products.
The charcoal-based column-shape active carbon uses the anthracite as the raw material, and it is fine processed with advanced technique. Its outlook is black column-shape particle, and it has the features of rational pore structure, good absorptive performance, high mechanical strength, being easy to regenerate and low cost. It is used in the aspects of purification of toxic gases, water gas processing, purification of the water for production and living and solvent recycling, etc.
The advancement of the column-shape active carbon
Because it uses the fine wood crust and coconut shell as the raw material, its ash content is lower than that of the traditional charcoal-based column active carbon, it contains fewer impurities and its gaseous phase absorption values and CTC are absolutely advantageous.
The charcoal-based column-shape active carbon has the advantages of developed pore structure, large surface area rate, strong absorption capability, high mechanical strength, low bed resistance, good chemical stability, being easy to regenerate and being enduring.
The products have rationally distributed pores and the maximum absorption and desorption can be realized, therefore the service life of the product can be enhanced largely (the average service life is 2-3 years). The service life is 1-4 times of that of the common charcoal-based carbon.

5.All the catalysts for the active carbon are tetrachloroethane and trichloro ethylene.
